B.E. PRODUCTIONS (founded 2004) is a Los Angeles based dance/arts company born from years of collaboration between co-artistic directors Rebecca Levy and Eryn Schon. The company's mission is to explore the creative process collaboratively, while using cross-disciplinary connections between artists to expand the boundaries of our art. The company has performed in multiple venues and festivals in both the Los Angeles and Boston areas, and is proud to be considered a bi-coastal company. Co-Artistic Directors

BE Productions Director: Rebecca LevyREBECCA R. LEVY was raised in Boston, MA and holds her BFA in Dance from Cornish College in Seattle, WA. While in Seattle, Rebecca was fortunate to work with choreographers Amii LeGendre, Wade Madsen, Mary Sheldon Scott, Deborah Wolf, and others. Former company credits include: Benita Bike's DanceArt Company, Boston Dance Collective, and Jazz Spectrum Dance Company. Currently, Rebecca performs with the critically acclaimed Lineage Dance (www.lineagedance.org), and has taken part in five of the company's national tours. Rebecca is head of the dance department at South Pasadena High School, and works as a freelance musical theatre/opera choreographer in the Los Angeles area.

BE Productions :: Director: Erin SchonERYN SCHON was born and raised in Willits, CA and holds her BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. She has toured her work through northern California, Seattle, and participated in two lengthy tours through Indonesia where her work was met with much critical acclaim. Additionally, Eryn has worked with talented choreographers such as, AC Petersen, Joe Goode, Wade Madsen, Carol Mc Dowell, Eko Supriyanto, Llory Wilson, Alison Van Dyke, Keith Glassman and Illan England. In addition to choreographing and dancing, Eryn raises orchids and practices yoga.

AARON ABRAHAMY
(Composer)
A native to Southern California, Aaron has been a musician since before birth.   At the age of 12, after vigorous piano study, he began composing his own works leading to his professional career.  Aaron was Resident Composer for the Donlavy Dance Company for four years. Today, along with having accomplished numerous completed works, Aaron enjoys his piano and vocal clients, teaching the skills of Beethoven through the Well Prepared Pianist Institute. His diverse repertoire includes work on musicals, film scoring, and contemporary songs for local artists.  

ALEXANDRA BLACKBIRD
(Dancer)
Alexandra Blackbird is a choreographer, instructor and performer of a variety of art forms and began her formal training at age seven in Boise, ID.   She holds an honors B.A. in Dance from Smith College in Northampton, MA.  Alexandra is currently the owner and director of Blackbird Dance Studio in Northridge, where her company Blackbird Dance is in residence. Past credits include Trinity Repertory's "West Side Story", and the lead in an Off-Broadway production of "Thin Line". Alexandra is on faculty at Glendale College, and formerly ran Fusion Dance Company/Studios, Seattle, and Dance Forum, RI. Happiness and Light stems from her best friend, seven-year old daughter, Soleil and Strength and Reflection resounds within her because of her four-year old son, Azul.

MONICA FARNAM
(Dancer)
Monica Farnam started her formal dance training in Anchorage, AK at the age of 16. Monica graduated cum laude from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. with a BFA in Dance. It was at Cornish where she met and began working with Ms. Levy, along with other fine choreographers such as Lynn Simonson, Sean Curran, and Wade Madsen. Additional dance experience includes Interweave Dance Theatre (Boulder, CO.) and Lineage Dance of Pasadena.

CHRISTOPHER HUNDLEY
(Guitarist)
A native of Los Angeles, Chris has been active in both the Rock/Pop and classical scenes. He is currently studying classical guitar with Matthew Greif of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. Previously, he studied with James Smith, who holds the chair in the Classical Guitar Department at USC, and he earned a BA in music at U.C. Santa Cruz. In an earlier incarnation as a rock musician, Chris was the guitarist and principal composer for a seminal L.A. alternative band called Magnolia Thunderpussy. L.A. Weekly labeled him a "guitar shredder" for his work with Magnolia Thunderpussy. Praise for the group's CD, "Staring down the Sun", came from no less a rock luminary than Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, who said "the group's playing is real and free and rocketed straight into the astral plane, and I'm all for it". Chris is also active teaching guitar around Los Angeles.

EFKA KVARACIEJUS
(Dancer)
Evaldus Kvaraciejus was born in Vilnius, Lithuania, and began his training at the age of 14 in kick boxing, gymnastics, and stage combat under the direction of Franek Golovach. At the Vilniaus Academy of Sports in Lithuania where he trained under Golovach's instruction, Evaldus specialized in skills such as stunts and fight choreography. While living in Los Angeles, he began his training in modern dance with choreographer/dancer Eryn Schon. Evaldus often works with stunt coordinators such as Jeff Pruitt, and Hector Echavarria in movies like Confessions of the Pit Fighter and Kill the Dragon.

JENNIFER LOGAN
(Dancer)
Jennifer Logan started formal training in Houston, Texas at age four and performed in various productions until getting sidetracked by a design career. She graduated from Woodbury University in Burbank, CA with a BS in Graphic Design and shortly thereafter founded Studio Fuse to service the Non-Profit and Performing Arts communities. Sitting behind a computer makes her stir crazy though, so it was back to dance to find much needed balance. Jenn is thrilled to have the opportunity to dance with B.E. Productions.

BRENDAN MAR
(Dancer)
Brendan began dancing in high school, and after graduation continued his training at the University of California at Irvine. He has appeared in various musical theatre and dance productions, and is excited to dance with B.E. Productions. Brendan holds a Masters degree from Fuller Seminary School, and is currently living in the San Jose area.

DARCY RUBEL
(Playwright/Actor)
Darcy Rubel received her BFA in Theatre from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. She has collaborated with artists such as Eryn Schon, Joe Goode, Brandon Payne, Luke Allen, and many others. Darcy lives in Seattle, Washington, where she is a full time massage therapist.

SCOT TUPPER
(Dancer)
Scot started his dance training at Moorpark College in 1995 with renebaum- a teacher/choreographer who remains a mentor. In 2000/01 he worked with Rudy Perez as both dancer and teaching assistant at USC and LA County High School for the Arts. Scot teaches ballet and modern dance in Westwood. In addition to B.E. Productions, Scot is an active company member of Keshet Chaim Dance Ensemble and Masterpiece Dance Theater. Other credits include: Keith Glassman (Gold men, White Guy Swell Dance), Mizeranydance (Kruel Summer, Man Clan, Edgewalkers), and Collage Dance Theater (Sleeping With the Ambassador).
